Privacy Policy

Your audition work should stay actor-controlled.

Last updated: June 16, 2026. This policy explains how Audition-i handles account details, audition materials, recordings, AI features, subscriptions, support, and deletion requests.

Information We Collect

Audition-i may collect account information such as name, stage/display name, email address, password credentials or sign-in tokens, subscription status, and app preferences. Some profile fields, such as legal name and date of birth, are used for account safety and eligibility flows while the app can display a stage name to the user.

The app may also process audition materials that you choose to provide, including scripts, sides, role notes, casting instructions, uploaded files, screenshots, recordings, take notes, AI coach chats, voice settings, and submission preparation details.

Camera, Microphone, Files, And Notifications

Audition-i requests camera and microphone access so actors can rehearse, record, review, and prepare self-tape materials. File access may be used when you upload scripts, documents, images, or audition assets. Notifications may be used for deadline reminders and account or support updates if you allow them.

AI Processing

Audition-i may use AI systems to help parse scripts, summarize audition instructions, coach performance choices, generate reader/scene-partner support, review recording setup, and prepare submission checklists. AI features are designed to support the actor's control and do not submit auditions automatically.

Uploaded materials and prompts may be sent to server-side AI providers only as needed to provide the requested feature. API keys and provider credentials are kept server-side and are not placed in the mobile app bundle.

Audition Media And Retention

Recordings, uploaded materials, and take metadata may be saved so you can return to an audition thread. Audition-i is designed around actor control, including export, deletion, and retention prompts. Some inactive audition folders may be flagged for cleanup after a retention period, while lightweight learning summaries can be retained to improve future coaching unless you request deletion where available.

Subscriptions And Purchases

Audition-i Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store for iOS purchases. Apple may provide subscription, transaction, and entitlement information so Audition-i can confirm access, support restore purchase, and manage subscription-related support.

Support And Admin Review

If you contact support, Audition-i may collect the message you send, contact details, device/app context, and relevant support evidence. Admin tools are designed to redact sensitive actor data such as legal identity, raw scripts, media files, provider keys, tokens, and payment details unless access is specifically required for support or legal obligations.

Children And Minors

Audition-i includes minor-safety planning and guardian-supported review concepts. Users under 18 may have additional safety restrictions, and certain risky features may stay locked or require guardian review. Production release may include stronger age, guardian, and consent enforcement.

How We Share Information

Audition-i may share limited data with service providers that help operate the app, such as cloud hosting, AI processing, voice/avatar services, subscription validation, analytics, support, and storage. Audition-i does not sell actor audition recordings. Casting-site handoff flows are actor-controlled and do not automatically submit files for you.

Your Choices

You can update account settings, control feature preferences, export audition materials where available, delete local data, and contact support for account, privacy, deletion, or correction requests.
